Born in Argentina in 1945. Graduated as Civil Engineer at the School of Engineering, Buenos Aires University in 1970.

Member of the National Academy of Engineering since 1999 and Member of the Academy of Engineering of Buenos Aires Province since 2005.

Principal Professor of the Solid Mechanics Department, School of Engineering, Buenos Aires University.

Chairman of the Commitee for the new Argentine Design Code for Concrete Structures (CIRSOC 201).

Fromer Member of the Board of the Argentine Chapter of the ACI.

Engineer Advisor for international engineering firms involved in bridge related projects in Panamá, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Jamaica, El Salvadorc.

Consulting missions for International credit organizations such as the World Bank, Interamerican Development Bank and the United Nations Development Program; in Ecuador, Venezuela, Bolivia and Uruguay.

Awarded with "Ing. José Luis Delpini" Prize granted by the Argentine Structural Engineers Association, on three opportunities: (1993) Rescue of "Plastic Excercise", Mural Painting by David Alfaro Siqueiros; (1998) Olleros Subway Station structural design, (2002) Structural design of Superí and Zapiola Bridges over the General Paz Highway.

Awarded with "Ing. Enrique Villarreal" 1993 Prize granted by the National Academy of Scientific, Physics and Natural Sciences.

Awarded with "Luis de Carli" 1997 Prize, granted by the Argentine Highway Association, for the paper "Bridge Management Systems"

Awarded with Global Road Achievement Award 2002, granted by the International Road Federation, for the Developement and Implementation of a Bridge Management System in Guatemala.

Former professor of the School of Engineering at Universidad Católica Argentina and Universidad de Belgrano.
